Random Sand Fact
In Tobago, there’s a sandbank in the middle of the sea where the sand is said to make you ten years younger.
At Nylon Pool, people stand in waist-deep water far from shore. Visitors rub the sand onto their skin before rinsing off in the clear water. Local belief says the sand rejuvenates.
The name comes from Princess Margaret, who during her honeymoon there found the water so transparent it reminded her of nylon stockings.
