Sand Origin

Random Sand Fact

Sand knows no borders. Most sand migrates far from its birthplace, carried by water and wind. It can cross oceans, soar high above clouds, and even travel from continent to continent before possibly starting its journey again.

Sand in the smallest country, the Vatican City, likely originates elsewhere. As do all people living here. The Vatican City is the only nation with a 100% immigrant population.

Sand might not occur abundantly in the Vatican State or Catholic rituals, but it reoccurs in the Bible, metaphorically describing numbers so big that they are hard to imagine.

P.S. The GRAINS collection has a piece of jewelry shaped after a sand grain found in St Peter’s Square. Why don’t you check it out?
