I väntan på svensk version, här den engelska:
Newborn black volcanic sand covers the slopes of Cerro Negro in Nicaragua making it ideal for thrilling sports.
Cerro Negro is one of the most active volcanoes in Nicaragua born in 1850 in a group of four young cinder cones in the central Maribios. It has erupted several times since, with emission of ash and sand from the top of the cone and lava from fractures at the base. The volcano’s sandy slope is great for a fast descent via sand board or sand skies much like on a snowy mountain.
Sand, a substitute for snow?
