In Sahrawi refugee camps near Tindouf in Algeria, bottles packed tight with sand become bricks: strong, insulating, and easy to stack.

The first house was built by a local engineer for his grandmother. Fast to build, hard to break, and made for desert heat.
Not a design idea. Just shelter, made from what’s available.
