Stars on Earth.
There are said to be more stars in the universe than grains of sand on Earth.
This grain was found on Hatoma Island, Okinawa — a beach covered in stars. Millions of them. On the ground. Sharp. Exact.
Worn by ocean and distance. The shape remains.
Scanned at a research facility. Magnified 10× and cast in silver.
Hoshi no Suna — star sand in Japanese
Sand is grit. Grit is sand.
The small is never small.

Material
- 100% recycled sterling silver

- OUAW-engraved tag by the clasp
Size
- Chain adjustable to 40, 42 or 45 cm / 16, 17 or 18 in

Care
- Wipe with a soft cloth after use to remove oils or residue
- Polish with a polishing cloth or silver dip when needed — if using silver dip, finish with a dry cloth
- Never wear in natural hot springs or volcanic pools — the minerals blacken silver within seconds
- Store in the box or a soft pouch when not wearing
- Arrange chains in loops to avoid tangling — never force or pull
Pro tip! Find the small ziplock bag under the soft insert in your box. Store your silver in it between wears — it darkens far more slowly. Not as fancy — but practical!
