Sandstorms might look amazing on film but are violent and unpredictable. Kuwait is hit by several annually. As a consequence instructions of how to act when, not if, are plentiful.

Instructions how to act if not sheltered indoors:

• Crouch down by any big object shield sand and to not get hit by flying objects.
• Put a mask or a piece of cloth over your nose and mouth.
• Use airtight goggles or wrap cloth tightly to protect your eyes and ears.
• Shield your face with your arm if you must move.
• If in a car: Get off the road, park, and turn off the lights.
• Wait it out.
