Romania

Romania is one of many places where sand therapy or sandplay, based on the psychological principles of Jung, is practiced.

Sand, water, and miniature figures get to illustrate conscious and unconscious inner thoughts, struggles, and concerns.

The method is used in individual work with both adults and children even if sandplay is said to be especially beneficial when working with young children, who might not be able to express their feelings in words.
