The Turkish art of brewing coffee in sand looks like culinary alchemy. It’s also considered thicker and stronger than any other coffee. Here’s a step-by-step guide to making it:
- Heat Sand: Fill a large pan with fine sand and place it over an open flame.
- Add Coffee and Water to a Turkish coffee pot (a cezve)
- Bury the pot in sand. Foam will rises quickly – it’s sand magic.
- Repeat 3-4 times for perfect foam.
- Serve: Pour the thick coffee into small cups
